Video of the Week - Katie Reider Topic:Film/VideoCategory:For Tuesday

It's another sad week for local music. Columbus & Cincinnati singer/songwriter/guitarist Katie Reider died July 14, 2008 after a 2 year battle with a rare tumor. This video and the 500kin365.org site have more details.
I only met Katie a couple times and maybe talked with her another 2 times via phone or email. She was contagiously cheerful and sweet every time. She was also one of the most popular artists at the band merch booth the last 2 years she played Comfest. Two of Katie's songs were used in the WB's Dawson's Creek and another was used in Lifetime Television Network's Strong Medicine.
I'm sure Katie reached many people and will reach many more.
