SEEN 01
Tiara: Birthmark / Drive Me Down
Preston Furman: High Seas / Mexica

This entire project was conceived in order to release label head, and Used Kid's employee Bim Thomas' band Flipping Hades. When those plans were foiled, newcomers Tiara politely stepped up offering excellent song-writing and driving guitars that would eventually become their first release. Principle song-writer, Eric Rottmayer, spent the entire summer of '95 gigging and recording as a temporary replacement guitarist for fellow local fellows, Moviola. Shortly before, he and rhythm guitarist, Brian Freshour, were the main ingredients in the sadly defunct sensations, Broadcaster.

On the flipside you'll find Preston Furman. Most of PF's work has been released on fellow Columbus label Lizard Family Music. Their first single is now out of print, but may be reissued by Seldom Scene. They also have two compilation tracks on the LFM compilation, The Beautiful People, as well as a new split single w/label mates Monster Zero. The songs keep coming from both of these bands and they just keep getting better.
